Hello CHS ’66 Classmates! Janice Knagge Snow and Jennifer Bond have planned several activities/opportunities to celebrate our 60th high school reunion. We hope to see you this October!

Thursday, October 15, 2026— All-Class Alumni Social at Catalina

Tour of our beautiful School starting at 4:00 pm. Please meet at the entrance.

All-Class Alumni Social from 5:00-7:00 PM is free, with a suggested donation of $20 to be paid at the door.

We will meet in the Science Patio (previously the men’s basketball court)

We will have appetizers and a social time, and the new members of the Hall of Fame will be announced and introduced in a program. Please let us know if you plan to attend so we can have enough chairs and food.

Friday, October 16, 2025—No Host Dinner at Casa Molina Norte, 3001 N Campbell Ave., 6:00 PM

We will be in our own section of the restaurant. You order what you like to eat and pay for it yourself.

Please let me know if you plan to attend so that I can advise the restaurant on how many to expect.

Saturday, October 17, 2026—Luncheon at the Arizona Inn, 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM

Location: The Historic and lovely Arizona Inn is located at 2200 E Elm Street, Tucson 85716

 We will meet in the private African Room and Terrace overlooking the beautiful gardens to have an Italian-inspired lunch together with a cash bar.

Cost: $100 per person, payable by check to Catalina High School Foundation, P.O. Box 42016, Tucson, AZ 85733.

ALSO NOTE: The Arizona Inn has offered a 25% discount for staying in one of the two lowest category rooms.

Honors Day – CHSF Awards 7 Scholarships

Honors Day was May 16th with the auditorium filled to capacity with students, teachers, staff, and proud parents.  Interim Principal Holley and Interim Vice-Principal Hall presented awards as did Coach Shane Folsom.

Seven seniors were awarded $1000 scholarships for their academic achievement at Honors Day.  The selected students had to overcome adversity to graduate, but all have plans to attend college.

Scholarships were also awarded by representatives from The University of Arizona, Northern Arizona University, Pima Community College, Tucson Unified School District, the Educational Enrichment Foundation, and Grand Canyon College.

We had a great turnout at the

Catalina High School Foundation’s
10th Anniversary Celebration and Fundraiser BBQ

a celebration of its tenth year of support for the students, faculty, and staff of Catalina High School.

Thanks to Life Member Bill Neubauer, MD ‘61 who offered his lovely ranch for a barbecue and Catalina High School Foundation fundraiser. We enjoyed lunch under the trees. This ranch has been a working Angus cattle ranch since the 1660s.
